This first floor bedroom with king size bed and a traditional fireplace takes its inspiration from the past king of Gwynedd – Math fab Mathonwy. With red and blue Welsh tapestry from the Trefriw Woollen Mill, this bedroom has a light and pleasant atmosphere. Part of the original fabric of the building can be seen on the walls of this room – the traditional construction technique of ‘rope-lath’. The bedroom’s bay window offers a view on to the old High Street to the Porth Mawr (East Gate) and down towards Porth yr Aur (West Gate / Golden Gate) and the Menai Strait.

The headboard has been created with old shelving from the cellar.

Wi-fi, television, tea and coffee making facilities are provided in addition to a wardrobe and easy chairs. The bathroom includes a shower, luxury towels and body-wash products.
